Planning a group trip
What does a luxury group golf trip really cost?
Arrive Golf publishes a complete per golfer price for every trip, with the room, the rounds, the transfers, and the dinners already inside it. Only airfare, travel insurance, personal spending, and cash caddie fees ride outside. Signature Hosted Experiences and Curated Stay & Play escapes are priced differently, so we never blend them into one range. Today's published numbers for each are shown below.
What is actually in the per golfer price?
Every Arrive Golf trip is priced as one number per golfer, and that number is meant to be the whole answer rather than a starting point. Your room, your rounds, your transfers, and your dinners are already inside it. What rides outside is short and predictable: airfare, travel insurance, personal spending, and cash caddie fees.
Both collections promise the same thing in a different shape: no resort fee waiting at the desk, and no line item you did not see coming. What is folded into the number depends on how you travel, a Signature Hosted Experience run for a private group with a concierge on the ground, or a Curated Stay & Play built around your own dates. The number on the page is the whole price, not a first payment on a bill that keeps arriving.
| On your trip | In the per golfer price | Paid separately by you |
|---|---|---|
| The golf | Every round on the itinerary, with carts, range access, and bottled water on the course. | Caddie fees and gratuities, handed to the caddie in cash. |
| Your room | Every night in the tier you book. On Hosted trips, taxes and the resort fee are inside it too. | Anything you charge to the room, from the minibar to incidentals. |
| Getting there and around | Airport meet and greet and every private transfer once you land. | Airfare to the destination, and travel insurance if you want it. |
| Food and drink | Meals per the itinerary: breakfast daily plus lunch and dinner on a Hosted week, fully inclusive dining on a Stay & Play. | Anything beyond the itinerary, and personal spending in town. |
| On the ground | A concierge from arrival to departure, plus standard package gratuities on Hosted trips. | Nothing. This is the part that surprises people the least. |
The two collections keep their own numbers on purpose, which is why this guide never blends them into a single range. A Signature Hosted Experience is one negotiated price per golfer for a private group; a Curated Stay & Play is a per room package for a couple or a small party. The snapshot just above reads today's published figure for each straight off the calendar, with the basis spelled out, so you are comparing like with like rather than a headline against a footnote.
What those trips cost per golfer right now
These figures are read straight from the trips on our calendar today. Signature Hosted Experiences and Curated Stay & Play escapes are priced differently, so each keeps its own basis and we never blend them into one range.

How rooming changes the number
On the The Ultimate Puerto Vallarta Golf Experience (four nights and two rounds), each package price is one whole-room total for everyone staying in it. Here is that room total beside the per golfer split, so sharing as two golfers reads as the lowest per golfer path it actually is.

What moves the number?
Four things move the number more than anything else: the season you travel, how you room, the size of your group, and which of the two collections you choose. On a Hosted week, season and group size shift the price. On a Stay & Play, the room you pick is the clearest lever of all, because the same nights and rounds publish a different number for a single, a shared room, or a room with a guest.
Season first. The peak golf window in Punta Cana runs December through April, when the weather is warm and dry and the tee sheets are busiest. May and November are quieter shoulder months on the same courses, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs June through November, which is why trips in that window are built with extra flexibility. None of that is a discount promise: no separate shoulder month price is published, so the honest move is to ask whether shoulder month dates are available and how they price for your group.
The room you book is the clearest lever on a Stay & Play. When one is on the calendar, the snapshot above shows it in dollars: three room shapes price the same nights and rounds three different ways. Read them the right way round. A room to yourself is the highest per golfer number, two golfers sharing one room is usually the lowest, and a room with a non playing guest folds that guest into one golfer's price. The instinct that a private room is the cheapest way to travel is exactly backward: sharing as two golfers is.
Group size moves a Hosted price, which is built on a specific headcount in double occupancy rooms, so a smaller or larger group can move it in either direction and the honest answer is to ask your concierge rather than assume. The collection itself is the last lever: a Signature Hosted Experience is a fixed departure for a private group of sixteen to twenty with one negotiated price per golfer, while a Curated Stay & Play is built around your own dates for a couple, a foursome, or a small party. Choosing between them is choosing a group size and a payment style as much as a price.
How does the money actually move?
It depends on which of the two collections you book. A Hosted trip splits into a deposit that holds your spot and a balance due before departure, each paid through your own secure link. A Stay & Play package is one price, paid in full when you book. Both carry a published cancellation policy worth reading in dollars, not percentages.
For a Hosted trip the shape is a deposit and a balance. A $1,000 deposit holds your spot, and the balance is due before departure. Every golfer gets their own secure payment link and pays their own way, so nobody fronts money for the other fifteen or nineteen people, and nobody spends the two months before a trip chasing a payment. If a balance runs a few days late, the posture is a grace period: gentle reminders, not a fee.

- $0

or take $750 as future credit
or take $500 as future credit
free name transfer up to 30 days out
Read the cancellation policy in dollars, not percentages. Take the $1,000 deposit and sort what happens into three buckets: cash back, credit, and value forfeited. Cancel 120 or more days out and no cash comes back, but the full $1,000 becomes future trip credit that never expires, so nothing is forfeited. Cancel 90 to 119 days out and it is $500 back in cash or $750 in credit. Cancel 45 to 89 days out and it is $250 in cash or $500 in credit. Cancel inside 45 days and both buckets are empty, though a free name transfer to a friend stays open up to 30 days before departure. The policy figures those shares on what you have actually paid at the time you cancel, so the same percentages apply once the balance is in.
A Stay & Play package runs a simpler line. It is paid in full when you book, and it stays fully refundable up to 14 days before you arrive; inside that window it is non refundable, because the resort nights and tee times are already committed on your behalf.
How do you spend less without cutting the trip?
None of this requires a smaller trip. It requires timing and a few honest choices: ask how the shoulder months price for your dates, room in the way that actually lowers your per golfer number, book inside the published window, and ask what a Hosted price looks like at your real group size before you lock in dates.
None of these means less trip. Each one is timing or a clear eyed choice about how you room and when you book, and every figure that makes the case is Arrive Golf's own published pricing, live in the snapshot above, rather than a market estimate.
Ask about the shoulder months.
May and November in Punta Cana carry the same three courses and the same rhythm as the December through April peak. Ask whether shoulder month dates are available and how they price for your group.
Share a room as two golfers.
On a Stay & Play, two golfers sharing one room is usually the lowest per golfer number, below a room to yourself. The snapshot above shows today's split, so sharing, not a private room, is the lowest per golfer path.
Match the room to who actually plays.
If a companion in your pair will not play, weigh the golfer and guest room, which folds the guest in, against booking as two golfers. The right pick depends on whether both of you play.
Book inside the published window.
Stay & Play pricing is tied to a book-by date shown on the trip page. A number on a trip page today is not guaranteed to be the number next month.
Ask what a Hosted price is at your real group size.
The published Hosted number is built on one specific headcount. Your concierge can tell you how it moves at yours before you commit to dates.
Take 5% off your first trip.
New guests take 5% off the trip price of their first booking. It is one per guest and it never expires, a real discount rather than a teaser rate.
Good questions
Common questions
- What does a golf trip for sixteen to twenty golfers cost per person?
- Every Hosted trip is priced as one number per golfer, with the room, transfers, dining, and a concierge already inside it. The exact figure depends on the trip, the season, and your group size, so the live per golfer price is shown on each trip page and in the snapshot on this one. Your concierge confirms the number for your headcount before you commit anything.
- Is the caddie fee included in the price?
- No. Caddie fees and gratuities are paid directly to the caddie in cash, separate from the trip price. Arrive Golf does not publish a caddie figure anywhere on the site, so your concierge tells you exactly what to plan for before you travel rather than leaving you to guess.
- Do I pay the whole cost up front, or in installments?
- It depends on the collection. A Signature Hosted Experience splits into a $1,000 deposit that holds your spot and a balance due before departure, each paid through your own individual link. A Curated Stay & Play package is paid in full, once, at the time you book, with nothing waiting at the resort desk.
- How much of my money is actually at risk if plans change?
- It depends on how far out you cancel and how much you have paid by then. On a Hosted trip, cancel more than 120 days out and everything you have paid becomes future trip credit that never expires; closer in, a shrinking share comes back as cash or credit, until inside 45 days, when what you paid is no longer refundable. A Stay & Play package is fully refundable up to 14 days before arrival, and non refundable after that.
- What is the honest way to spend less on a group golf trip?
- Ask how the shoulder months price for your dates, room in the way that lowers your per golfer number rather than assuming a private room is cheapest, and confirm the group size a Hosted price is built on before you lock in dates. None of that means a smaller trip, only a better timed one.
- What is the lowest published price on Arrive Golf's calendar right now?
- The lowest Signature Hosted Experience is $5,200 per golfer, on the Westin Puntacana Golf Escape for five nights and four rounds, double occupancy. The lowest Curated Stay & Play works out to about $2,541 per golfer, two golfers sharing a room on the The Ultimate Puerto Vallarta Golf Experience for four nights and two rounds. These are today's published numbers, generated July 19, 2026, and each trip page shows its own live per golfer price before you commit to anything.
- What is the lowest per golfer way to book a Stay & Play right now?
- On the The Ultimate Puerto Vallarta Golf Experience, the lowest per golfer path is two golfers sharing a room, which comes to about $2,541 per golfer today. Every package price is a whole-room total for everyone staying in the room, so sharing as two golfers, not a private room, is usually the lowest per golfer number, and each occupancy is shown with its room total and its per golfer split.
