By Iberostar's own account one of P.B. Dye's toughest — co-host of the 2016 World Amateur Team Championship.
Playa Paraíso is proof that yardage isn't difficulty. At 6,704 from the tips it rates 74.3 with a 137 slope, and Iberostar's own materials call it one of the toughest courses P.B. Dye ever drew. The holes run through thick Riviera Maya forest to small, heaving, heavily bunkered greens, and its championship résumé is real: it co-hosted the 2016 World Amateur Team Championship with El Camaleón and staged the Canadian Tour's Riviera Maya Open from 2007. It plays inside the Iberostar Paraíso complex on the Riviera Maya.
